Phonic Classes began on the second day of our arrival at Bo Oi School

Sherman was really a great teacher, as he had the experience of teaching here at Bo Oi last summer. The students remember him well.

The adults observed and helped out while our youths were teaching their classes.

Students doing their daily exercises.

Students playing during their recess time. The youths in our Mission Team loved to join in and played with them.

The Big Send Off heading our way to the Shan Xi Province

Boy, the long flight to Beijing was certainly tiring! Mei seemed rather exhausted while we waited at the Bijing airport for some of our team members to arrive from Hong Kong.

After spending the night at Bijing, we had to get up early around 5:00am to catch our flight to Tai Yuen. Checking-in at the Airport was rather confusing. We had to move our luggages three times to different places before we finally found the right line.

Upon arrival at Tai Yuen, the Chief of the Tax Dept. treated us to a delicious big breakfast. We did not want to miss trying out each dish of the local food, but the dishes just kept coming, so were really stuffed.

Our first group picture taken with our hospitable hostess-the Chief of the Tax Department.
