Friday was MOPS meeting for mommy

On Friday mornings, Becky goes to attend the Mother Of Preschoolers Workshops. So I took care of Nicole at home. Lately, she has great improvements. In the mornings, she doesn't fight with me on what clothes to wear anymore and she eats her breakfast without any fuss. Then I let her watch TV or play by herself while I do my Tai-chi exercises. She does not bother me unless she needs help to get something or open the backpack zipper for her. Once in a while, she surprised me by saying "Thank you Po Po " on her own. When she asks for something, she now knows to say "Please" first. I usually cook noodles with chicken and vegetables for her lunch. Becky allows her to pick the noodles and meat from the tray, I preferred to feed her using a spoon. She has good appetite most of the time. We put her down for her nap after lunch, but lately it takes a much longer time before she finally falls asleep.
Nicole also learned to say prayer on her own. She would close her hand and say,"God is great, Amen." I was really amazed at how much the littles ones can learn at Sunday school at such young age. However, a few times after she said that she would start whining. I did not quite understand why until it dawned on me what she was thinking was "God is grape", and that was why she whined because the prayer reminded her she wanted grapes.
